LAC CANARD CHALET (Long term monthly/seasonal or short term)
Chalet Lac Canard is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet on a quiet and peaceful lake with a nice sandy beach, newly renovated in 2022! Completely private with no neighbour views, Lac Canard has a year round 5-6 person hot tub under a gazebo that overlooks the lake. The chalet is located on a private road that is safe for children and pets, there is no traffic whatsoever. Just peace and quiet. The house comes with boats included (canoe and kayaks), outdoor firepit, wood fireplace, WiFi and Netflix TV on 2 large flat screen tv's.
The chalet is accessible all year, with very quiet roads to walk on, close to ski hills, and Quebec Route 33 for snowmobiling is less than a minute away (makes a great forest trail in the summertime!).
The house itself is on 2 levels, with 2 living areas, and 2 bathrooms. Easy access flat land. 20 minutes from all amenities such as groceries, dining, and shopping in Ste Agathe des Monts. One hour, 20 minutes from Montreal. This chalet is on the same lake as our Birch Point and Sandy Lake cottages.

3 boats (canoe + kayaks only, no paddleboat). Note that boats may change on occasion, so please inquire. Boats supplied are the only ones allowed on the lake. The municipality does not permit people to bring their own boats or inflatables.

Sand beach area with shallow water entrance. Very easy access for small children.

Lac Canard is a "head lake", meaning no pollution from outside water sources, and clear. In the middle of the lake, you can see to the bottom. Mostly small Trout and Perch for fishing.

No light pollution from any vantage point, and because of the general higher elevation of this lake, the stars are particularly bright when compared to even other locations in the Laurentians. Fantastic location for star gazers!
